We went here on an early Saturday morning at 7 am and enjoyed their large breakfast dishes. I had the hash brown and eggs (egg special) with three pancakes ($19.30). You can substitute the three buttermilk pancakes with other types of pancakes. I chose the pecan pancakes, which had plenty of pecans on the top. I asked for over-hard eggs, and I thought that they were fried really well. The food here is pricy for breakfast restaurants, but the experience was nice. We came here before the crowd, so our time here felt more relaxed. Parking was easy to find early in the morning, and the restaurant is close to a bus stop. Foothill Transit line 285 connects this part of La Habra to the Puente Hills Mall in the City of Industry.

This is the only Original Pancake House I've ever been to, so I'm unsure of how the chain is as a whole, but this location is always great. The Apple Pancake is awesome! It's oven baked with fresh apples and a cinnamon sugar glaze that caramelizes perfectly. Just know it takes about 20-30 minutes to make, so order it first thing if you're hungry. The Dutch Baby is also worth the wait, it's a big, puffy oven-baked pancake that comes out looking pretty impressive. Both of these are more than enough to share, unless you're planning to nap right after. Their regular pancakes are solid too. They have tons of omelette and varieties of pancakes. They're all good but the ones I mentioned earlier are the absolute best. This place gets packed, especially on weekends, and seating can be tight, but the quality is consistently good, which isn't always a given with breakfast joints. The staff here is friendly and handles the crowds well. Just come expecting a wait during peak hours, and maybe grab coffee to hold you over while you wait for the any specially prepared items.

We wanted pancakes. This was the place. We pulled up into the large parking lot. Plenty of parking. No wait at around 10am. We got seated immediately. The restaurant was clean and had a warm welcome. The food was good. The fresh coffee went well with our order. Our waitress was on point. She kept checking on us. We will be back to try many more of their dishes in the future.

Buttermilk pancakes were delicious but if you want bacon at $ $7.45 three slices of bacon so we only did the pancakes split a six count for $1225. Provided excellent customer service this place is always busy. The pancakes came out hot fluffy light and delicious. I recommend this place. Enjoy.
